imPRESS Press-on Manicure

I was recently sent imPRESS Press-on Manicure free to test from Influenster's VoxBox program. The nails come in a package that looks like a bottle of nail polish. I received an animal print that looks amazing on.

These nails were so easy to apply. You peel, press on and you're done. They are supposed to last for up to one week. Mine didn't last that long but I work in a profession that requires a lot of typing. These are perfect for a special occassion or a night out on the town. I'm horrible about removing polish from my nails so my nails normally stay natural With the imPRESS Press-on Manicure i'm able to add a little color to my hands. They are easy to remove and no mess.

NYC New York Color

I don't know who was more excited to receive this NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine, me or my 3 year old daughter. We both love to wear lipgloss. I was sent this Lipshine in the nude shade complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program.

The Lipshine goes on smooth and evenly. It's not sticky and my lips feel really soft while wearing it. My lips have a great shine to them. I have worn this everyday since receiving it and I love it!

Oral-B Stages Party!

I was excited to learn that I had been chosen by Mommy Parties to host an Oral-B party! My husband and I always purchase Oral-B products but I've never purchased any for my 3 year old daughter. The package that I received was geared towards younger kids 4 months - 4 years.

My daughter was excited to be able to have a play date with her friends and give them goodie bags. Each child recieved a goodie bag with an Oral-B Stage I or II toothbrush (depending on their age), Oral-B Stages toothpaste, and a bottle of Disney Lavender Wash. Mommy Parties also provided balloons, some flash cards that we used for a fun game, Winnie The Pooh on DVD, Oral-B coupons, popcorn and popcorn containers.

When the kids arrived we played a game with the flashcards while the popcorn was popping. Once the popcorn was ready the kids watched Winnie The Pooh. After the movie it was naptime so the kids took there goodie bags and went home!

The parents were all impressed with the items provided. I really like the toothpaste. Its the first toothpaste that my daughter will actually use and not spit out because its yucky. The toothpaste is just the right size for her mouth so it makes getting in there and brushing easier. Oral-B is definitely a new favorite in our house!

Old Navy Bundle-Up Bash Party!!

I'm so happy to be a member of Crowdtap. Not only do I get to share my opinions with them they also send free stuff. Recently I was chosen to host an Old Navy Bundle-Up Bash Party. For this party I was sent 4 coupons. 1 for me and the other 3 to share with friends. Each coupon entitled us to a sweater, pair of pants and 1 accessory. I decided to share the coupons with my mom, sister in law and niece.

With Christmas shopping in full swing we decided to get an early start on Saturday morning. It took us awhile to decide what we wanted to purchase. Old Navy had a lot of sweaters, pants and accessories to choose from. I went with a tan cardigan type sweater that I could wear at work and a pair of jeans. My sister in law decided on a really soft gray sweater and some jeans. What I love about Old Navy's jeans is that they come in Short, Regular and Long length. The short are perfect for me and my sister in law loves that the long length fits great on her tall legs.

Old Navy had something for everyone. My 17 year old niece found some skinny jeans that she liked and a stripped green sweater. My mom didn't think she would find anything she liked but she fell in love with a red cardigan and some dress pants. For our accessories my sister in law and I went with hats and my mom & niece choose gloves.

I've hosted several of these parties before and it never gets old seeing the cashiers reactions when everything is free!

Torani Syrup

Like most people, I love my morning cup of coffee. It can be an expensive habit because I love specialty coffees. I have a hard time finding flavored coffees that I like. Either they are too sweet, too strong, not strong enough or they just taste bad!! This means I normally buy my coffee at a coffee shop! Now this is about to change.

I’m a member of SheSpeaks Blogger Society and was recently asked if I wanted to try, and review, some Torani Flavored Syrups. Of course I wanted to try it but I was skeptical about if I would like it. I’ve used Torani Syrup before but only in a jello shot recipe.

I was sent 2 bottles of Torani Syrup. One was Sugar Free Vanilla and the other was Pumpkin Pie. I was also sent 5 FREE coupons for Torani Syrup. I’m planning a giveaway soon so look out for it in the next couple of weeks (after my cruise to cabo!).

This morning I brewed my coffee, added some cream and a little of the Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup. Wow! It tastes amazing. Just the right amount of Vanilla and it’s not too sweet. I think I’ve found my new morning cup of coffee. An added bonus is that the Sugar Free Syrups have zero calories.

I use Torani Syrup to make this jello shot recipe. It’s a hit at every party I attend!

Ingredients
1 Large Cherry Jello package
2 cups boiling water
¾ cups Torani Crème de Cacao
¼ cup vodka
1 cup White Rum
Magic Shell
1 jar maraschino cherries
Whipped Cream
Jello Shot containers (I use 2 oz plastic soufflé cups)

24 hours before preparing(If you’re short on time then you can skip this step)
Strain the cherries leaving about ¼ of the juice in the jar. Fill the jar with white rum. Place cherries in refrigerator overnight.

Preparing Jello Shots at least 3-4 hours before serving
Strain the Maraschino cherries and rum mixture into a measuring cup/bowl. Add rum to the mixture until it measures 1 cup.
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add jello. Mix until jello is dissolved. Stir in the 1 cup of rum that you measured out, ¼ cup of vodka and ¾ cups of Torani Crème de Cacao.

Pour mixture into jello shot containers. Fill the containers about ¾ of the way. Place 1 cherry in the middle of each jello shot.

Refrigerate jello shots until they are firm.

Immediately before serving pour a thin layer of Magic Shell on each jello shot. Put them in the freezer for about 20-30 seconds OR until Magic Shell is hard. Put a small amount of whipped cream on each one and serve!

Old Navy Activewear

I was chosen to participate in the Old Navy Sample And Share "Get Fab & Fit in Active by Old Navy!" program through Crowdtap. Since I have been going to the gym regularly trying to get in shape I was thrilled with this opportunity.

Crowdtap sent me a package that included 2 coupons. One for me and one for a friend. Each coupon was worth a free activewear top and a free activewear bottom. I gave my friend a coupon and then I went shopping with mine.

My shopping adventure took place on a Saturday morning. It was perfect because I was kidless for the day. I tried on several pairs of pants and was extremely impressed with the fit. Personally I think they make my legs look really good. Next it was time to shop for a top. There were several to choose from but I knew the one I wanted when I saw it. The neckline is different then most activewear tops so it has a dressier look to it.

It was so fun to go to the register to pay and not have to pay anything. The look on the cashiers face is priceless.

Crowdtap Old Navy Flip Flops

I was chosen to test a pair of Old Navy's newly designed flip flops. I received the flip flops and was happy to see they were a plain black pair. All I can say is I love the new design. The straps are skinny so they don't cut into my foot like the wipe straps do. The whole shoe is skinnier which gives it a stylish look. I'm headed to a wedding in Las Vegas this weekend and these flip flops will be in my purse so that I can wear them when my feet start to hurt. They will look fantastic with my dress!

Old Navy Jeans Sample and Share

The timing for getting picked was perfect. We were getting ready to go on a family vacation. First stop Las Vegas then Colorado. I decided I wanted a pair of boot cut jeans that I could wear with flats or with a little heel. When I got to the Old Navy store to try on jeans they had a large variety in my size. The first thing I realized is that Old Navy jeans are long. The sales clerk helped me by pointing out that they have pants that are short length. The short length fit me perfectly! The checkout was extremely easy and I love my new jeans! They were perfect on my vacation. I wore them during the day in Vegas and to a club in Colorado.

Old Navy — Sample and Share Jazz Up Your Style with Old Navy Decorated Tanks!

I was lucky to be chosen as a host for a Crowdtap Old Navy event. I was sent 4 coupons for Old Navy Decorated Tanks. One coupon was mine to use and the other three I had to pass along to friends. It was hard to decide which tank I wanted. They had some really cute ones. In the end I chose a black tank with ribbon on the front (see picture). This tank can be worn with shorts or a little dressier with jeans and heels! My three friends have redeemed their coupons and they all love their new tanks.

Old Navy Shorts Party

I recently joined an online site called Crowdtap. I give my opinion by completing brief surveys on their website. Luckily I was picked to host an Old Navy Shorts Party. I was able to invite three friends to join me at my local Old Navy Store. Each of us received a coupon for a pair of shorts, a shirt and any accessory. Wow! I was impressed. I invited my friends and told them they were getting shorts. When they arrived a surprised them when I told them they were also getting a shirt and accessory.We had a great time trying on some many different outfits.

Shorts were the first thing we all picked. Due to the shorts sale, the larger sizes were limited but everyone still found a perfect pair of shorts. Three of us went with the Bermuda shorts. My niece decided on some short jean shorts that looked adorable on her.

Next were the shirts. We all found shirts pretty easily. I chose a flowery tank. Two ladies picked three quarter sleeved shirts and my niece took home a cute decorated shirt.

The accessories were the hardest. There were so many to choose from. Sunglasses, hats, bags, shoes, belts, scarves. Three of us went with shoes and one took home an adorable bag!

I was wondering how check out would go but it was as easy as can be. We each spent between $80-90 and it was all free! The Old Navy employees were extremely jealous! We had a wonderful time and got some great items! Thanks Crowdtap and Old Navy!!!

So life has been busy and I haven't been updating this blog like I wanted. That's about to change. I've been reading other blogs and coming up with ideas for mine.
